Margaret & Dustin | Engagement Session

The first time Margaret and I spoke I’m pretty sure we were on the phone for a solid hour and a half. Now I am a bit of a talker but I definitely think we hit it off first thing! We talked about anything and everything. But mostly wedding talk! Her vision for her wedding sounds so incredibly beautiful and I cannot wait to photograph it this fall at Maple Grove Estate!

For their engagement session she has pictured two completely different styles and looks for her hair and makeup. So we decided to split it up into two days. Day one we met at their venue, Maple Grove, and hit it at the right time of day! The trees had started to fill out more since the last time I had been there so we had a bit more coverage from the sun creating a beautiful glow. The vines on the wall had grown leaves and totally fit their vibe and style so perfectly! Lots of color and lots of fun! I love love love how their really showcased their personalities in this sessions. This one with the fun button down shirt for Dustin and their freaking adorable vans. Be sure and scroll down to see those!

Okay, so next session she told me she was going with a pin-up style. So I knew immediately we had to try and get into The Oliver’s Peter Kern Library for a few shots. It. Was. Gold. She also had shown up with ice cream cone jewelry so I immediately knew we would make a pit stop to Cruze Farm on Gay Street! We toured Downtown Knoxville and laughed and oooh-ed and ahhh-ed over all the dogs. It was a complete blast!

Fun couples are my jam and I have been so so lucky to have some pretty awesome couples book me! Best. Job. Ever.
