Erica & Joshua | Engagement Session

Downtown, a beautiful couple, gorgeous light, genuine smiles, and a stunning golden sunset… this gallery has me absolutely in love!

Joshua was a groomsman in a wedding I photographed last fall at the Jackson Terminal. So, thankfully, when Erica said yes and they started wedding planning she reached out to my past couple to view my work. Referrals are such a huge way photographers gain business and I am so thankful for my past couples giving me good reviews! Knoxville has a huge amount of wedding photographers and I am always so honored when you choose me.

Little more about this session here though… how adorable are they together!? I am not exaggerating when I say I cannot help but smile when I look at their images. Their love for one another truly shines through. We started in Downtown Knoxville and hit up all my favorite spots… avoiding the crowds so they felt they were the only ones around. This part of downtown has so many pretty spots that I feel like can often go overlooked. It’s a great location for a clean, up-town, city vibe!

Right before sunset we headed across town to my favorite location for a beautiful view that has zero hiking involved. While it isn’t your large lookout over the Smokey Mountains, it is still insanely gorgeous and a great spot for photos! Here we snuggled, played, froze our butts off (surprisingly it was quite chilly and as the sun went down it got very cold with the wind!), and soaked in every last ounce of sunshine we could.

Their Knoxville wedding is set for this November at The Quarry Venue and I am beyond excited to get to photograph them again! I have no doubt their wedding day will be full of love and laughter all day long.
