Elegant French Countryside Spring Wedding

All of the beautiful weather we have been having in East Tennessee the past few days has me dreaming of pastels, florals, blooms, and weddings! Spring makes for such a beautiful time of year to get married. It isn’t too hot or too cold. If you time it just right you can capture all the blooms that come out and grace us with their presence. I used to only live for Autumn… but Spring has quickly taken a hold of my heart!

This elegant spring inspired styled shoot at The Venue in Downtown Asheville, North Carolina was absolutely stunning! This venue is one I would want to have my wedding at! You have the urban feel pared with a richness in colors and mood. Combine that with soft pastel colors and florals and it is a dreeeeam. Even though I am a Knoxville Wedding Photographer I would travel anytime to this North Carolina venue!

We have to chat a little about the other AMAZING vendors paired in this shoot. Starting with this custom, hand painted ceremony backdrop by the talented Abby Lynne Art. Wow! This piece is so so pretty. Can you imagine having your wedding images in front of a hand painted piece such as this!? The florals surrounding this piece, as well as in the bouquet and in the centerpieces, are by Elena with Luxe Wedding Designs. I could have photographed the flowers alone all day. They complimented the whole vision and pulled it all together.

The dress is from Maggi Bridal in Asheville, where the sweetest lady, Amy, helps you find the perfect dress. This off the shoulder look was so elegant! And the soft blue suit from Asos Man was a winner. I have been lucky enough to photograph several rental pieces from East West Vintage Rentals and they always have the perfect items. This hair style is one of my top favorites for a wedding. Completely classic and bridal. You don’t have to worry about it blowing in your face or your curls falling out. Plus is just so chic! Jenna with Atlas Beauty always does a great job! Powder Me Pretty pulled off a flawless look in makeup as well.

Let’s be honest… we are all drooling over this cake and these sweet little macaroons! I ate several macaroons this day and they were delectable, I’m not gonna lie. Emma, with Verbena Cakes, designed and created this cake; which has amazing texture and was so fun to photograph. And Beeswax and Butter made and brought the sweeet macaroons, tying in the French part of this shoot perfectly. Erin, with Pretty Words By Erin, brought her A game with this table runner that was perfection. I am always amazed at the art people can create with letters. And wrapping up the credits we have this super fun and functional truck from Bryce at Jack’s 47 Mobile Bar. Y’all… It’s a cool vintage truck AND a bar. Win!

I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I do every time I look at them. They bring me to another place besides Knoxville or Asheville. I feel as if I really am shooting a destination wedding in the French Countryside and it is a dream! Thank you Ashley Ricci Photography, for dreaming this up and making it a reality!
