Knoxville Winter Wedding | Elopement | Russell and Savannah Gutmann

Knoxville Winter Wedding

This past weekend I was honored to be one of 11 people (including the couple) in attendance of this small, romantic, elopement wedding. There is just something so sweet and special about being a part of such a small wedding. I do love my big weddings with big bridal parties and the whole shebang. But on days like this one I can truly feel the love surrounding the couple and I truly feel as if I am part of the family. I am so thankful for the couples and their families that I book that welcome me in sharing the most important days of their lives with them.

We got so lucky this day with the weather! It was definitely cold and obviously cloudy and overcast BUT there was no rain!! Or snow! haha! We have had so much rain the past few weeks here in East Tennessee that I thought for sure we were going to endure some more. I even had my trusty clear umbrellas on hand ready to go! Thankfully we made it through with not a single drop.

Russell and Savannah are the kind of couple that you really don’t have to direct much. Even in their engagement photos they were so easy to photograph with little to no guidance from me. The little smiles and touches just came naturally to them while in front of my camera, giving their images such a soft, romantic feel. I could not be happier for them and their new life they are beginning together. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Gutmann!

Beautiful florals made by the groom’s Mother, Johanna Gutmann
Ceremony performed by groom’s father, Paul Gutmann.
