This is one wedding I will never, ever forget!
Not only was it on Mother's Day, it was in a new city for my photography career and it was absolutely stunning! Photographing a bigger city wedding was always on my bucket list and this one checked all the boxes.
We started at an airbnb for the getting ready portion of the day alongside the bride. The wedding was a destination wedding, so everyone was coming in from all over the country, and some from out of the country! Both sides of the family were Jewish, so there was a lot of traditional moments and items to capture that made everything feel even extra special.
Once we made it to Uptown Charlotte, it was full force work mode. We had a first look, lots of family photos, couples photos, and wedding party photos to nail down before the ceremony. It was tight and fast paced, but we nailed and got everything we needed! After the ceremony, we captured a few more images on the terrace then headed out into the streets for just a few more of the bride and groom. They had told me they hired me for my city shots... so we had to grab as many as we could!
The reception was one of the most fun I had ever been to! As soon as we walked in, they had the couple up high in the air on chairs celebrating them. There was so much dancing, laughter, joy, and fun all evening. Not one dull moment! We ended the reception with some balcony night shots and a romantic private dance.
This was my the city wedding of my dreams! Not only was everything I got to photography stunning, but the couple was so nice, easy going, fun, and appreciative. My favorite type of clients to have!
